
Tuning In North adds final speakers for April conference
Tuning In North will take place at Manchester’s Stoller Hall on Wednesday 22 April, with the final speakers now confirmed.
Simon Rimmer, Gold Radio presenter and co-host of Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, will join Lucy Darby, Global’s Brand Experience Director, and Tim Ellerton, Team GB’s Chief Commercial Officer, to explore how audio can turn sporting success into a shared national experience.
They will discuss the Team GB and Global partnership at the Paris Olympics and Milan Winter Olympics and look ahead to LA28, highlighting the importance of sustained relevance and community in sport amplification partnerships.
Mark Barber, Planning Director at Radiocentre, and Ffion Turner, Managing Partner at WPP Media Analytics, will present new research showing how brands can use Multiplatform Audio to boost campaign ROI.
Their High Gain Audio study provides guidance on budget allocation between Broadcast Radio and Digital Audio to maximise effectiveness.
Gemma Lee, AV Partner at Carat (Dentsu), and Kate Bradbury, Deputy Managing Director at Wavemaker North, return to discuss developments in audio over the past year.
They will be joined by Matt Payton, CEO at Radiocentre, to examine what remains to be done to unlock audio’s full potential for advertisers.
