Ellie Taylor will host BBC Radio 2’s Saturday lunchtime programme while Emma Willis presents Strictly Come Dancing.
Her first programme in the 1pm to 3pm slot will air on Saturday 26 September, with the arrangement continuing through the autumn and winter.
Ellie said: “I cannot wait to be back at Radio 2 and am thrilled to be looking after Emma’s Saturday show while she waltzes off to Strictly.”
She added that listeners could expect music, guests, surprises and “most importantly a lot of fun”.
Emma Willis presented her final Saturday lunchtime programme of 2026 on 19 September. Strictly judge Anton du Beke joined her to look ahead to the first programme of the new series.

Ellie will also make her debut as presenter of Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two on BBC Two from Monday 28 September.
