Following the successful launch of nine new Heart stations last week, Global Radio has announced the second phase of the roll out of the Heart brand. Twelve new stations, including GWR, will join the network on Monday 23rd March.
They’ll include GWR Bristol, Gemini FM in Torbay and Exeter, Severn Sound and 2-Ten FM in Reading bringing the total of stations in the current network to twenty four.
Global Radio’s Group Executive Director and Director of Broadcasting Richard Park said: “This is a very exciting year for the Heart brand, as we become the largest commercial radio network in the UK, targeting the 25 – 44 year old audience.”
