NME Radio goes Digital One

Digital One is to gain another new service tomorrow as NME Radio gets ready to commence an eight month trial at 7am.
NME will join other recent additions on the national digital multiplex including Amazing Radio and UCB, leaving just one empty space remaining.

NME Radio managing and programming director Sammy Jacob says: “Since launch, NME Radio has strived to increase distribution with constant requests for the station to be made available nationally on DAB. We are therefore delighted with this development as it will significantly increase the opportunity to listen to the station across the country.
"NME Radio is extremely passionate about the music it plays, especially the promotion of great new acts. Being able to share that passion with a wider audience will make it all the more worthwhile."
It will leave just one space remaining on the national multiplex, which is owned by Arqiva.
