Clyde co-host Adele joins Capital Scotland

Former Radio Clyde breakfast co-host Adele Cunningham has joined rival station Capital FM Scotland to present the Saturday morning show.

She’ll take over the 8am-12noon slot after only a couple of years in radio, having started out as a travel reporter for Bauer in Glasgow.

Adele was part of George Bowie’s breakfast show at Clyde until last summer. Since then she’s been hosting the Nightshift show on STV.

Adele said: “It’s a privilege to be working with the Capital Scotland team, especially Paul Cooney and Stuart Barrie, who I have always looked up to. I’m really excited to be working at Capital Scotland!”

Programme Controller at Capital 105-6 Scotland, Stuart Barrie added: “ Adele is a great asset to the station and we’re looking forward hearing more from her in the future.”
