Canadian radio host Kat Callaghan confirms she’s the voice of TikTok
Voice-over artist and radio presenter Kat Callaghan has released a TikTok video saying she is the voice of the videos on the video-sharing social network.
Kat, who is one half of Scott & Kat’s beat breakfast on CKBT-FM 91.5 The Beat in Ontario, is heard on millions of clips using the text-to-voice feature.
In the reveal, Kat uses the service to ask the question “When you guys have been asking me if I’m the voice on TikTok” then speaks herself to say “Finally I can tell you guys.. it is me.”
The clip has been watched over 30M times at the time of posting, and follow-up videos FAQ have also seen millions of views.
@voiceofkat For a long time I didn’t say a word. But … yes it’s me and yes I have an ongoing awesome relationship with the folks at TikTok.
The coolest part for me is watching the creativity & awesome content that people are putting out there using my voice. (Also oddly enough this is my first TikTok)
