Wigan station Wish FM is bringing back live rugby commentary and launching a new weekly magazine show about the sport.
Throughout Super Leauge 16, the station will have exclusive commercial coverage of both Wigan Warriors and St Helens matches, starting with the derby at Millennium Magic next month.
Alongside the commentary, 102.4 Wish FM will start a brand new weekly Friday night rugby league magazine show called 'Gerr’um On Side!' which will include interviews, quizzes, and match-night banter.
Programme Director Craig Beck told RadioToday.co.uk: “Rugby League is such an exciting sport and an integral part of every day life in our area. We’re thrilled to have commentary back on the radio station and can’t wait for the new season to kick off.”
