BBC Radio 1 has announced details of its annual trip to Ibiza, with a 12-hour live broadcast featuring station DJs.
Whilst sister station 1Xtra heads to Majorca for the first time after holding events in Ayia Napa for the past 10 years.
Confirmed to play in Ibiza on August 5th with presenters Pete Tong and Annie Mac, are Judge Jules, Kissy Sell Out, Jaymo & Andy George, Skream & Benga, Kutski, Chuckie, Toddla T, Heidi and Zane Lowe.
And on Saturday 16 July, BBC Radio 1Xtra will simulcast with BBC Radio 1 from 7-11pm UK time for a huge outdoor party hosted by Trevor Nelson, Tim Westwood, MistaJam and DJ Target.
MistaJam, bass and dubstep music are also there to entertain holidaymakers and residents.
Ben Cooper, Deputy Controller, Radio 1 and Radio 1Xtra, says: “This is a great opportunity for 1Xtra to showcase some fantastic UK artists and reflect the excitement and fun of our young listeners on holiday.”
