Biggest ever local giveaway for UTV group

Six of UTV Media’s local radio stations are giving listeners the chance to win a share of £60,000 as part of their biggest ever group competition.

Signal 1, Juice FM, Tower FM, Radio Wave, Wire FM and The Wave are offering Christmas shopping sprees with a selection of local businesses.

Each giveaway will be worth up to £10,000, with the winner getting 40 minutes to splash the cash in each shop. We’re told the stores include some of the biggest retailers in the country and include electrical, furniture and home stores as well as jewellers, supermarkets and travel agencies.

Calum Macaulay, Director of Local Radio for UTV, told RadioToday.co.uk: “This competition is a fantastic way of promoting local retailers in their areas and we’re really pleased to be able to give our listeners the chance to win such a terrific prize.
