The shortlists for the 2012 Sony Radio Academy Awards have been announced in a special lunchtime webcast.
On the awards night on 14th May, the winner of the Gold Award will be announced along with Silver and Bronze winners.
In categories where there are only three nominees (Station of the Year and Programmer of the Year awards), only Gold Awards will be made.
