DAB Digital Radio maker PURE has released its first set-top box and Freeview+ HD digital TV recorder.
The Pure Avalon 300R Connect also features BBC iPlayer and YouTube, along with Pure’s internet radio and music services.
The box does not contain the one chip Pure is famous for – the facility to pick up DAB – but it does include Wi-Fi for internet radio.

Boxes come in 500GB and 1TB versions and uses a ‘picture in picture’ feature whilst browsing the programme guide.
