Forth 1’s Darren Adam joins YOUR Radio

Your Radio, currently settling into its new home in Clydebank has a new breakfast show with Darren Adam.

Darren has previously worked at Forth 2, Clyde 2, West Sound, Tay and Northsound as well as presenting the breakfast show on Forth 1 for almost ten years.

Darren says “I am delighted to have joined YOUR radio. I love local radio and aim to help our lovely listeners get ready for the day ahead with a lively mix of music, chat and local news, sport, weather and traffic reports from 6 till 9 every weekday morning.”

Commenting Tracey McNellan, MD at YOUR Radio said, “We are thrilled that Darren has joined the YOUR Radio team. He is an award winning broadcaster with huge amounts of experience and already we’ve had great feedback from listeners.”

Darren joins existing presenters including Dean Park, Yazz, Heather Suttie and Fraser Thomson as well as sports pundits Peter Martin and Alan Roug .

YOUR Radio serves the Firth of Clyde to Loch Lomondside, broadcasting on 103 to 106.9 FM with a transmission area including Helensburgh, Dumbarton and Kilcreggan.

YOUR Radio is part of RMG, an independent media group employing over 300 people throughout the UK. As well as YOUR Radio, RMG has 32 newspaper titles, with a readership of 900,000 per week, complimentary and sister websites with over 1 million visitors per month and special interest magazines.
