UK based WRN has renewed its existing satellite uplink station contract for its ArfiStar satellite with WorldSpace. The satellite covers Western Europe, the Middle East and Africa and includes channels such as Virgin Radio, BBC and CNN Internaional.
Randall Scott, Vice President, Production Engineering and Operations, for WorldSpace Satellite Radio, said: “WRN has been a reliable partner over the years enabling us to continue providing our customers with virtually uninterrupted digital quality radio programming via satellite. We look forward to our continued relationship with WRN.”
Gary Edgerton, WRN’s Managing Director, said: “I am delighted that WorldSpace Satellite Radio has, once more, entrusted WRN to provide these uplink services for its channels. This further strengthens the close strategic partnership between WRN and WorldSpace.”
