BBC Radio 5 Live's Sportsweek programme has been voted the best sports programme for the second successive year at the Sports Journalists' Association Awards.
Speaking at the ceremony held in London, Richardson said: "We're immensely proud and delighted to have won the sports media industry's most important accolade for a second time and we're aiming to keep up the good work throughout the coming year."
Series producer Rob Smith said: "It's a real pleasure working with Garry and the rest of the team on the show and we're pleased to continue to make informative and entertaining programmes for our listeners".
