BBC Radio 2 has secured a live session with Neil Diamond and his band at the BBC Radio Theatre, the results of which will be broadcast on-air in May.
The promotion on the nation's most listened to station will tie-in with the release of his 29th studio album Home Before Dark.
Radio 2 is also giving away 75 pairs of tickets to see Neil Diamond in the Radio Theatre, one month before his live dates at London's O2 Arena and the Glastonbury Festival.
Radio 2's head of programmes Lewis Carnie said: "It will be fantastic to see a performer like Neil Diamond showcase new material and well-loved gems in such an intimate venue. This will be a real treat for his many fans."
The concert will broadcast on Radio 2 at 7pm on Saturday 17 May.
