A Revolution for Oldham FC

The Revolution has teamed up with Oldham Athletic FC after agreeing a new deal which sees The Revolution become the club’s official broadcast partner.

The station will now be advertising the club and promoting the games, with all the latest news and information from Boundary Park as well as running a regular competition to win tickets for home games.
The Revolution’s station manager, John Evington, told RadioToday.co.uk: "As Oldham’s local radio station it’s important that we reflect the tastes and interests of the town in our programming. Latics have always held a special place in the hearts of Oldhamers and I’m delighted to see our two organisations come together at this exciting time".

The station has returned to its roots and is reporting a surge in listener interest since the relaunch, which sees Steve Penk – famed for his trademark wind-up calls – anchoring the breakfast show and old friend James H Reeve taking over on sport.
