Southport's two local radio stations have put their differences to one side to launch a special children's Christmas 2008 Toy Appeal.
Southport Community Radio and Dune 107.9 had planned to run their own festive campaigns but have decided to combine efforts and work together for the benefit of youngsters all over the Northwest Coastal town and those spending time in Ormskirk at the local hospital.
Both stations have secured sponsorship support for the campaign and have arranged four drop off points across Southport.
The campaign launched Monday November 10th.
