Wave 105 brings big screen to listeners

Bauer station Wave 105 has put on open-air movie events for listeners across their south coast patch.

Their Movies by Moonlight tour has taken in Bournemouth, Southampton and Portsmouth, screening Grease and Toy Story 3.

Presenters Simon Clarke and Rick Jackson introduced the events, which also included fairground rides, fun and games and places to buy snacks for the movie-goers.

Rick Jackson presenter of Wave 105’s Big Drive Home show told us: “We’re delighted at the success of Wave 105’s Movies by Moonlight. Groups of friends and families all sharing a picnic and watching their favourite movies under the stars was a great experience – the atmosphere was electric. We are already looking forward to next year being even bigger and better.”
