Global Radio is to promote the Be There with Team 2012 Appeal across its Heart, Capital FM and Gold networks, as well as Choice FM and LBC 97.3.
The Appeal comes as the group is announced as official radio partner for Team 2012.
Its support includes on-air imaging, interviews with athletes and online editorial. Some presenters will also be twinned with athletes as they train and prepare for London 2012. In addition, each brand is giving away tickets to the Olympic Games, to events such as the Men’s 100m Finals and the Paralympic Games, including the Opening Ceremony and Athletics Finals.
And this Thursday 27 October, LBC 97.3 is holding a Team 2012 Appeal Day, celebrating nine months to go before the start of the Olympic Games. The dedicated takeover day will showcase British athletes and Olympians from past Games as well as discussions with senior figures from the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Team 2012 is the official fundraising programme for over 1,200 British athletes striving to be selected for Team GB and ParalympicsGB at London 2012.
