Adam Waters has been appointed as the new Head of Online at British Forces Broadcaster BFBS to work across the portfolio.
He comes from Bloomberg Television and will be based at BFBS HQ in Buckinghamshire.
“I couldn’t have picked a better month to start,” Adam said. “We have a new 10-year contract, we now have six UK bases radio stations, plus a new line up of TV channels.”
In his new role Adam will be managing social media accounts, upgrading the BFBS websites and overseeing the production of online video and audio.
“What other broadcaster can say they deal with heroes, technology, films, television and radio as standard?” he added. “I want to make sure we are producing incredible online content and get our BFBS Radio, TV, British Forces News and SSVC Forces Cinemas brands all working together to make our digital presence as strong as possible.”
