Hallam FM’s Owen Ryan has been appointed as Group Programme Director for Bauer Radio’s North of England and Scotland stations.
Owen will take charge of all the Bauer Place stations with the exception of Magic 105.4 in London, Cool FM in Belfast and Wave 105 in Southampton.
Before joining Hallam FM as Programme Director in 2011, Owen was Content Director for Mix 106.5 in Sydney and Mix 101.2 in Melbourne. He previously worked at Hallam between 2002 and 2005 as Deputy Programme Director before joining Gcap as Century FM’s Programme Controller in the North East and later XFM Scotland as Programme Director.

Gary Stein, recently appointed Director of Music will report to Owen.
Travis Baxter has been standing in as Group PD prior to Owen’s appointment.
