Kam Kelly takes over Drive at Radio Aire

Former Capital, Hallam, Galxy and GCap network presenter Kam Kelly has joined Radio Aire in Leeds as the new drivetime presenter.

He’s taking over the 3-7pm slot on the Bauer station as well as looking after Saturday mornings 10am-2pm.

One of Kam’s most recent gigs was at Capital FM South Wales (and on Red Dragon before the rebrand), where he hosted breakfast with long-term co-host Sally Bailey. The pair did their last show on the station in the summer.

Together with Sally he did breakfast at Galaxy 101 for five years (1997-2002) before doing a networked ‘Core Control’ evening show on the GWR/GCap network. Prior to joining Red Dragon to be reunited with Sally in 2009, Kam spent two years on Hallam FM drivetime in Sheffield.
