BOB fm brings Can Film Festival to Herts

The Cannes Film Festival starts this week on the French Riviera. At the same time, a film festival with the same name (but different spelling) is taking place in Hertfordshire.
BOB fm listeners will be able to to see films in selected cinemas for free as long as they bring a CAN of food. All of the cans will be donated to the local food banks.

This weekend, for the kids, BOB fm will be showing the animated feature “Mr Peabody and Sherman” at the Broadway Cinema in Letchworth on Saturday morning and for the grown-ups, on Sunday night they’ll be showing of “The Love Punch” starring Pierce Brosnan and Emma Thompson at the Garden City Cinema in Welwyn Garden City.

Graham Mack and Jules from BOB’s Breakfast will be at every Can Film Festival event to shake hands and thank every one of the hundreds of people who’ve already pre-registered to attend at www.bobfm.co.uk.

Graham Mack said, “With more people than ever relying on their help, food banks resources are stretched, this is a great way for BOB fm to get involved and help them out.”
