Final Radio Festival schedule revealed

The Radio Festival is just weeks away and organisers Radio Academy has announced final details.
Leaders of the industry will team up for three days of sessions at the annual event in Salford.
Speakers will including BBC Radio 4’s Kirsty Young, Controller of Radio 1 and 1Xtra Ben Cooper, LBC’s Nick Ferrari, Bauer Media’s Dee Ford, Absolute Radio’s Geoff Lloyd, Kerrang! Radio’s Kate Lawler and many more.
Highlights include:
The Art Of Story Telling – Tracy Johnson, leading US Breakfast Radio Consultant, shares advice on how to create great on-air moments by applying the techniques of legendary US personalities like Ryan Seacrest, Jeff & Jer, Elvis Duran, the Bert Show and more
Eden Project – Tim Smit, co-founder of the Eden Project, discusses how you can re-invent the ‘good idea’ and keep it fresh to unlock creativity
Breaking Bad – Dave Dollimore, Ministry of Sound MD, Marvin Humes, former member of JLS and Capital FM presenter, and Kate Lawler, presenter on Kerrang! and Bauer Radio, discuss radio versus music streaming, and if radio alone can still break a new artist
Kirsty Young On Desert Island Discs – Kirsty talks about Desert Island Discs, a format that consistently reveals so much more about the interviewee than just their musical or literary tastes
