The next Radio Academy South Branch event will feature David Lloyd chatting with Pete Simmons in Southampton.
David will be making the trip south to promote his new book, How to Make Great Radio, which provides techniques and tips for today’s broadcasters and producers. Global’s new Managing Editor for the South Coast Pete Simmons will be asking the questions at the event, which is taking place at the BBC Solent Bar.
Radio Academy South Branch Chair Roy Martin says: “We’re lucky to have two experienced radio managers taking time out to chat about radio for an evening – and welcome anyone who works in, or volunteers in radio in the area to come along on the night and enjoy the conversation.”
David will be giving away a signed copy of his book on the night in a free draw, and will also have copies available to purchase.
Roy adds: “It’s free, all you need to do is confirm your attendance on the Facebook event page so we can prepare BBC visitor badges for everyone in on the night.”
