Grace Nicoll is taking over the breakfast show on YOUR Radio, replacing Davey Davidson.
Grace moves from the early evening and Saturday afternoon slots to host breakfast Monday to Friday. The 23 year old told RadioToday the move comes at an exciting time: “What an exciting month this is for me! The day after I got married to my lovely Fraser, Gary Marshall the station manager told me he was offering me Breakfast. I was so thrilled I rushed around to my Mum’s place and we danced aroundthe kitchen.”
Gary Marshall added: “YOUR Radio is delighted to make Grace the only female solo breakfast host on mainstream commercial radio in Scotland. Her bubbly nature is already proving a hit with the listeners who are contacting the station to say what a great personality she is.”
Davey Davidson has left the station citing ‘personal reasons’.
YOUR Radio, owned by Newsquest, broadcasts along the Firth of Clyde and to Loch Lomondside and has just applied to join RAJAR.
