Victoria Derbyshire records video diary for TV

Victoria Derbyshire has kept a video diary on her battle against breast cancer for BBC News.

The former BBC Radio 5 live presenter had a mastectomy to remove a breast on September 24th, and will tell viewers she no longer has breast cancer as a result.

Victoria was diagnosed with lobular breast cancer on 31st July 2015, and credits the hard work of the NHS staff, saying they have been ‘awesome’ and says she feels fine.

A preview clip was posted on social media yesterday afternoon, prompting hundreds of messages from fans wishing her well.

You can see the video diary on BBC Two and BBC News at 9.15am today.
