BBC WM presenters go dancing for charity
A number of radio presenters from BBC WM are taking part in the West Midlands’ answer to Strictly Come Dancing.
Presenters including Adrian Goldberg, Shay Grewal and Mollie Green have been quickstepping their way from their shows to rehearsals ahead of the ‘Generation Strictly’ Children in Need event at the Tower Ballroom in Birmingham this Thursday.
They will be dancing alongside five couples from different backgrounds across the West Midlands, who have been paired with people from different age groups to learn each other’s dance routines, and sharing their moves and life stories with BBC WM listeners.
BBC WM breakfast presenter Adrian Goldberg said: “It’s been a big change to get out of the studio and be dancing. I’m looking forward to the big night and seeing all the Generation Strictly dancers in action. We’ve been talking to them on air over the past few weeks and they’re all so interesting and fun – I’m sure their dance moves will be too.”
The BBC WM presenters Adrian Goldberg, Mollie Green, Richie Anderson, Shay Grewal, Pete Morgan, Michelle Dawes and Danny Kelly have been learning ‘The Strictly’ – the dance to the Strictly Come Dancing theme tune – which they will perform at the finale event.
