Bauer Radio’s Mission Christmas raises £12.9m

Cash for Kids from Bauer has managed to raise almost £13m for its latest Mission Christmas campaign, with the help of a number of celebrities.

Well known personalities including Ant & Dec, Rita Ora, One Direction, Fleur East and more helped bring in more than last year’s total of £10.5m.

Fundraising activities are driven by local brands across the entire Bauer Radio City Network, where listeners are asked to buy an extra gift or make a donation to help brighten up a child’s Christmas.

‘Mission Christmas’ was supported by their partner, Foresters, the International Financial service provider for the fifth consecutive year. As well as financial support, Foresters also provided thousands of volunteers to help with the packing of presents and organising of events around the UK.

Sally Aitchison MD of Cash for Kids said: “With so many children living below the poverty line in the UK, Mission Christmas is there to help where we can and make the festive period that little bit brighter for families in need across our local communities.”
