This year the Festival Steering Group is being chaired by Jonathan Arendt, CEO of Jazz FM and the Festival Director for 2016 is Helen Thomas, Editor of BBC Radio 2 and Radio 2 Digital.
Roger Cutsforth, Managing Director of The Radio Academy said: “It is great to be able to announce the date for The Radio Festival well in advance this year and we are delighted to be able to partner with The British Library once again.
“Feedback from delegates who attended The Festival last year was hugely positive regarding the venue and the synergy with the Library’s sound archive.
“More details will be announced shortly, but we’re already very excited about our plans to deliver The Radio Festival in a day.”
