Newly signed talkRADIO presenter Jon Holmes will host this year’s Arqivas at the Camden Roundhouse, London.
He follows Jamie and Emma from Heart breakfast who hosted the show last year, and Christian O’Connell who was previously the long term host.
Jon says he’s a big fan of the awards, and Arqiva, and is looking forward to hosting the event. Just today we announced he is moving from Global to Wireless Group to present afternoons on talkRADIO.
You’ll be able to hear the awards broadcast live from RadioTodayLive on inRadio this year.
The awards are organised by Radiocentre with Arqiva as the awards’ headline sponsor for the 17th year running. Tickets for ceremony go on sale at 7 am on Wednesday 13 April from commercialradioawards.org.
Jon Holmes says: “I look forward to hosting the Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards. Handily the event combines four of my favourite things which are commercials, radio, awards, and, of course, Arqiva, because I’m a huge fan of communications infrastructure and media services that operate at the heart of the broadcast, satellite and mobile communications markets.”
Siobhan Kenny, CEO of Radiocentre says: “it is brilliant that Jon Holmes is hosting the Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards this year. His edgy, absolutely of-the-moment wit and typically British self-deprecation will bring refreshing irreverence to one of the most important events in commercial radio. We’re looking forward to welcoming our guests to a second cracking night at Chalk Farm’s Roundhouse in May.”
