Tributes paid to BBC Radio Cornwall’s Ted Gundry


Ted Gundry – a founding member of BBC Radio Cornwall – has died after a long illness at the age of 81.

He was known as the voice of the station for many years, which has been reflecting on his life since the news was announced yesterday.

A Facebook post on the BBC Radio Cornwall page says: “Some sad news to share with you – one of the founding members of the BBC Radio Cornwall family Ted Gundry has died in hospital at the age of 81. We’ll be reflecting on the career of the much-loved broadcaster on air on BBC Radio Cornwall and we’d love to hear your memories of him.”
