These fancy conferences hardly existed in the 70s and 80s when ILR was a vital vibrant exciting industry to be in! Now ‘suits’ and ‘aspirationals’ go to ‘network’, supposedly share/exchange creative ideas, trends? But if that’s true WHY is radio so controlled, boring, full of sound-alike double-header breakfast shows, dull jingles (or worse still ‘Sonic’ logos) and ZERO personality !!??
