More branded intros created for BBC Radio 1

Contraband Media has delivered a package of over 100 branded intros for BBC Radio 1.

Following on from their ongoing Breakfast Show Imaging for Nick Grimshaw, the company has been asked to assist the Radio 1 station sound team with day-to-day playlist production, in the form of sonically branding the Hot Recurrent/Silver tracks.

Adam Burgess, Contraband Media Company Director said: “It’s a real blast branding these big hits for such an iconic radio station. As you’ll hear from the demonstration montage, there’s some next level chopping, pitching and mashing going on here I’m immensely proud of what we’ve created as a team.”

Paul Rushforth, Contraband Media Music Director said: “It was a pleasure to continue our relationship with BBC Radio 1. We love making these intros, especially those with vocal starts where we had to recreate the instrumentation from scratch. Those were a fun creative challenge!”
