LBC and Katie Hopkins have agreed Katie will leave the station effective immediately.
A single tweet announcing the news was sent on Friday morning, and comes just days after a backlash against Katie for her own tweets and opinions following the Manchester Arena bombing.
Global’s Founder and Executive President Ashley Tabor has been receiving abuse via his personal twitter account since Tuesday, with people saying he should sack Katie.
Katie first joined LBC in April 2015 to host a one-off show.
RadioToday has contacted LBC for comment but the station has nothing more to add to the original tweet.

Station ‘suits’ should always back their team unless something is said that offends ALL of society, not just powerful (or rich) religious pressure groups.
