Radio Academy South plans 2nd Summer Social

The Radio Academy South Branch, covering Hampshire, Isle Of Wight, West Sussex and Dorset, is returning to the pub next week for its second Summer Social.

The first, held in May 2016, welcomed dozens of radio people from all sectors of the industry with a rare chance to catch-up with industry colleagues and make new contacts.

This year the Summer Social is taking place in Southampton on June 28th in Southampton City Centre, and is sponsored by Imaging Blueprint / Contraband Media.

Chair of the Branch Roy Martin, explains more: “Thanks to Adam and the team at Contraband Media, the first drink is free for anyone coming along. You don’t need to register but you can signal your intention to attend on the Facebook event page so we know you’re on your way. We’re at the newly refurbished Scholars Arms, previously known as the Frog and Parrot on Above Bar Street, just near BBC Solent. Everyone is welcome, even non-Radio Academy members, and you don’t need to work in the official Branch area to attend. I hope to see you there!”

The address is 166 Above Bar Street and the event starts at 6.30pm till late. See pictures from the last event here.
