Mansfield 103.2 has signed up for a traffic and travel service from TfM giving the station access to a traffic dashboard and a feed of data for its website.
Travel for Media already supplies traffic information to Radioplayer’s in-car hybrid radio solution and announced a deal with Anglian Radio before it was bought by Celador.
“As an ultra-local station, we are very successful in our advertising sales to clients in the North Nottinghamshire & West Derbyshire area and need all our advertising space to satisfy their needs,” explained Managing Director Tony Delahunty.
“TfM provide us with a high-quality timely traffic information and we don’t have to hand over any valuable airtime in premium spots at peak times, so we win with great information and with uncluttered traffic reports.”
TfM’s Operations Director Paul Hutton said: “The fact that a local successful station like Mansfield 103.2 has chosen us is a great boost and adds to our growing list of community and other stations who are choosing TfM for their traffic provision.”
The agreement came through TfM’s co-promotional deal with the Local Radio Network and it says it is looking forward to adding enhanced content and working with more stations over the coming months.
