Fix Radio claims audience of 25,000 listeners

Fix Radio has announced its first estimated audience figures of 25,000 listeners after just six months on-air.

The station has also attracted the investment of Travis Perkins and sealant company CT1 who are co-sponsoring Kicking Off, the daily lunchtime sports and music show presented by Paul Burrell, who is also the announcer for Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium.

And builders across London will also be getting more free bacon butties from January when the Fix Radio Bacon Butty Tour resumes. The inaugural tour earlier this year lasted 40 days and saw 15,000 hot bacon butties given out to workers on London building sites in return for allowing their radios to be retuned to Fix Radio.

Louis Timpany, Fix Radio CEO, said: “The growth of the station in its first few months has been fantastic, both in terms of audience and our ability to offer a new platform to the construction industry’s biggest brands. We have big ambitions and our partner brands are now part of that journey.”
