Television personality Carol Vorderman will this weekend join BBC Radio Wales for five weeks to host ‘Sunday Morning with…’.
Carol is the latest high profile name to present the programme, which starts Sunday 22 July at 9.30am. The programme will feature a mix of music and conversation.
The former Countdown star told RadioToday: “I can’t wait to start. I want the programme to have cheek and mischief and laughing. A lot of it. All number quizzes are banned and so is moaning. I’ll be driving up from my tent in Pembrokeshire on Sunday so once I’ve had two pots of tea we should be fit for launch.
“I’ve got lots of guests and I’m trying to persuade my gang to raise their weary heads and answer their phones, so it should be good for a laugh”.
Previous presenters of the Sunday morning slot include Eve Myles, Connie Fisher, Colin Jackson, Suzanne Packer and Lucy Owen.
