Former Heart Essex weekend presenter Harvey Lee is joining Radio Essex to host weekday afternoons starting on 7th October.
In other changes, Conor Knight, who currently presents Friday and Saturday evening will move to weekday evenings with Scarlett Howard moving to lates to present Essex Chilled along with a new weekend show.
Ross McGrane, who currently presents the Late show, moves to a new weekend Breakfast show.
Marky T presents weekend lates with dance show Ear Candy extra and Jack Burke joins the station to look after weekday overnights.
In the newsroom Rebecca Dundon joins the station as News Editor and Breakfast reader for Chris & Abbie’s Breakfast Club. Rebecca has previously been heard on various UK brands including Capital FM in London.
Programme Director Chris Brooks told RadioToday about the new line-up: “These changes show our commitment to creating local radio for Essex.
“Harvey is a great presenter who will add his wealth of experience and Essex knowledge to our on-air team. Conor Knight is exactly the type of presenter we need in the evening, full of energy and a love for new music. Scarlett will sound very much at home with the chilled tunes after 10, whilst Stand-up comedian turned presenter Ross McGrane will set up the weekend in Essex with his own unique style.
“Rebecca joining us as News Editor is a great result for us as she will bring a lot of valuable experience to our news team in Essex.
“Jack and Marky T add the finishing touches to a new look schedule at Radio Essex, it’s great to be able to work with new talent and help them develop at the station.”
