BBC Sounds app launched on PlayStation 5 with live radio

PS5 users can down listen to live radio, music and podcasts on their game consoles with a new BBC Sounds app.

Pushpa Reddy, director of product management, BBC, says: “Record numbers of people are using BBC Sounds, and launching on PS5s makes it even easier for our listeners to enjoy brilliant live and on-demand radio, music and podcasts from the BBC.

“Whether it’s on a TV, smartphone, smart speaker or on the web, we want to be there wherever and whenever people want to listen.”

To add it to the apps library and make it available to use directly from the home screen, users need to go to the Media tab on their home screen and select it from the All Apps section.
