Virgin Radio UK appoints Ellie Davis as Deputy Content Director

Virgin Radio UK has appointed Ellie Davis as the station’s new Deputy Content Director.

Ellie joined Virgin Radio as Executive Producer of The Chris Evans Breakfast show in Dec 2018, for the show’s launch in January 2019.

Before joining Virgin Radio UK, Ellie spent 10 years at the BBC, working across BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 2, including producing Jo Whiley, Simon Mayo, Johnnie Walker, Steve Lamacq and Cerys Matthews before being appointed Breakfast Show producer with Chris Evans.

Davis says: “Virgin Radio is all about the brilliant team on and off air.

“It’s a joy to work with such cool, creative people and I’m honoured to take this role to help keep us moving onwards and upwards.”
