
The Campaign Audio Advertising Awards have taken place recognising the best of audio in advertising, including a few radio related winners.
DAX Audio, owned by Global, won the best Platform, Publisher or Network of the Year, and BBC Creative won the Best Creative Direction for its Doctor Who x Radio 1 series.
In addition, the best B2C Branded Series was won by Gaydio for its series with British Airways.
The programmes are hosted by Luis Wyatt, Chris Blackmore and Helen Scott, who invited listeners to explore LGBTQ+ culture and experiences across Europe, highlighting lesser-known destinations.
The judging panel praised the podcast’s strong targeting, engaging content and seamless brand integration that felt authentic. The collaboration between Gaydio and British Airways was recognised for its creativity, execution and outstanding results, with the judges calling it an exemplary branded content series.
