Stern denies going back to FM

Howard Stern has once again denied reports that he is about to return to terrestrial radio, following a report published in the New York Times. The report said Stern is upset that he is no longer a "water cooler topic" after his switch from CBS to SIRIUS Satellite Radio last January.

Persistent industry chatter in the States says that some sort of huge deal is being created among Sirius boss Mel Karmazin and his longtime associate Farid Suleman, reports John Mainelli in the New York Post, quoting a report from Inside Radio editor Tom Taylor.

Suleman currently runs Citadel Broadcasting which is about to purchase WPLJ and WABC in New York.
