Radio Norwich reaches 7%

Tindle's 99.9 Radio Norwich has had it's first ever RAJAR figures today – they show the station's got 35,000 listeners tuning in every week, representing 7% of its TSA. The station recorded a 2.2% share of its market.

The majority of listeners to the new station are likely to have come from Radio Broadland and BBC Radio Norfolk. GCap's Broadland is down 12,000 listeners on reach this quarter, whilst the county's BBC local station lost 9,000. Quarter-on-quarter Radio Broadland's market share is down from 14.4% to 13.7%; Radio Norfolk's was 18% in Q4 compared with 19.6% in Q3.
