Clear Channel sells stations

Clear Channel Communications are selling 51 more radio stations, this time in the Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana markets. Clear Channel announced in November 2006 they were going private, and aiming to sell over 500 of their smaller radio stations.

They have been bought, subject to FCC clearance by GAP Broadcasting, headed by George Laughlin and based in Dallas.

The stations in question are KEAN, KEYJ, KFGL, KSLI, KULL, KYYW, KATP, KIXZ, KMML, KMXJ, KPRF, KFMX, KFYO, KKAM, KKCL, KQBR, KZII, KAFX, KSFA, KTBQ, KYKS, KCHX, KCRS AM/FM, KFZX, KMRK, KKYR, KMJI, KOSY, KPWW, KYGL, KBGE, KISX, KKTX, KNUE, KTYL, KIXS, KLUB, KQVT, KBZS, KNIN, KWFS, KLAW, KVRW, KZCD, KEEL, KRUF, KTUX, KVKI, KWKH, and KXKS.
