Heidi Secker, current producer of East Anglia’s Heart Breakfast Show, is to be the new co-host of the show with Dave Taylor.
The changes are being made after Sarah Cawood decided to step down as presenter to focus on her two young children.
A Heart East Anglia spokesperson told RadioToday: “We are thrilled to welcome Heidi Secker to the Heart presenting team and we look forward to Dave and Heidi waking up East Anglia every weekday morning. We would like to thank Sarah Cawood for all her hard work and she leaves with our best wishes.”
Sarah Cawood added: “I’ve had an amazing year on the Heart East Anglia breakfast show. You could not find a lovelier bunch of people to work with. It’s one of the reasons that my decision to leave was such a hard one to make, but my children are very small and I was missing them too much. I wish Dave, Heidi and the whole team all the very best for the future. I know they will be brilliant!”
