Brunel FM secures Swindon Town

107.7 Brunel FM has arranged exclusive full match commentary on Swindon Town Football Club’s home and away fixtures for this coming new season. The commentary team will include experienced radio and television broadcaster Nigel Turner and ex – Swindon Town football player Alan McLoughlin.

Also joining the team are Paul Scott and Alex Crook. Nigel’s track record includes 4 years as a commentator at BBC local radio in Wiltshire covering Swindon Town. He has produced and presented sport on radio and television.

Alan played at the highest level in midfield for the Republic of Ireland and is one Swindon Town’s football legends having played for them during one of the club’s most successful periods from 1986 to 1990. He still lives in Swindon and follows their every move. He has also become an accomplished radio broadcaster within our radio group covering Premiership side Portsmouth.

Paul Scott is a journalist and began his career covering Salisbury City. Paul has two years experience as a football commentator at League 1 standard.

Alex Crook is co-owner of the M & Y News Agency and has been reporting on Swindon for the national press for the past five years. He’s been a presenter and commentator working with Alan McLoughlin and is also a football writer.
