GCap Media has signed the talents of American DJ Ryan Seacrest to host a custom syndicated show on the One Network. The show, which will also broadcast on Capital 95.8 will feature celebrity interviews and chart songs. Ryan currently hosts the morning show on KIIS FM Los Angeles.
In addition, Ryan hosts the American Top 40, created and formerly hosted by Casey Kasem. He made his name in America in 2004 as host of American Idol, and continues to host television shows.
In the UK, The Entertainment Edge with Ryan Seacrest will air on Capital 95.8 each Saturday lunchtime 11am till 1pm, and all One Network stations each Sunday morning 10am till midday.
In addition, E! Entertainment Television will sponsor two E! News updates with the latest celebrity news. The show will launch Saturday September 15, the weekend prior to Ryan Seacrest hosting The 59th Primetime Emmy Awards in addition to covering Live from the Red Carpet: The 2007 Primetime Emmy Awards on E! Entertainment Television (Sky 152 & Virgin 173), on Sunday, September 16, at 11pm.
