The worst kept secret of the year in American radio has been confirmed by Citadel Broadcasting Corp. The announcement was made today that sacked WFAN morning show host Don Imus will return to the airwaves thanks to WABC New York from December 3rd.
Don was sacked in April for calling a women's basketball team "nappy-headed hos".
WABC President and General Manager Steve Borneman said: "We are ecstatic to bring Don Imus back to morning radio. Don's unique brand of humor, knowledge of the issues and ability to attract big-name guests is unparalleled. He is rested, fired up and ready to do great radio."
